Records and Data Management

Role Description

Records and data management is an internship level position with the Leon County Humane Society. For this role, it is preferred that the volunteer have prior experience or equivalent field of study in data entry. The volunteer will be vital in the process of entering and keeping track of extensive animal records and files.

Position Function and Organizational Impact:

This volunteer will assist the communications director and foster coordinators with responsibilities such as filing, entering animal records and utilizing a tracking system for fosters.

Time Commitment and Location of Work:

3 hr shift, once per week,  on-site with opportunities to work from home

 

Goals:

The goal of this volunteer is to assist by keeping track of and entering animal records, filing, and being able to successfully utilize systems management tools.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Data entry experience or equivalent field of study
  • Systems management experience
